Converting to Drupal

Hello Everyone! :)

I'm new here. Just installed Drupal 6 on my pc local host. I have very limited knowledge with writing any code or anything like that but am in the process of a lot of self-study. Here's my question to which I would apprecaite very much any help I can get in order to get moving forward.

I currently have a website up (I'm not sure what the rules are about posting website addresses here so I won't). It was created by my web designer and is a pretty simple one I guess writtn with php. It has a few pages and the only section resembling any entering of emails etc involves a) a contact page and b) a signup for newsletter. He created a seperate admin page for me to go access the emails for the people who signup for the newsletter.

The site has only been up fully about a month with hardly any traffic. So...

I got really excited when I came across drupal a couple of days ago and would like to know how to go about (the steps) moving or converting my existing php based website to the drupal platform. I'd obviously like to keep all my graphics and layout as it is. I have been searching around the net and the posts in drupal.org quite a bit. I have found some stuff but not anything that seems straight forward for a beginner like me.

I've imported users from another (non-Drupal) site, and wanted to install their Content Profile's as well. So I imported a CVS file with the right fields in it and created node records for each content with the UID referencing the Profile NID VID.

Clearly I missed something because if I go to a user and click on their profile, I get a blank profile, but can't save new data because "a record of this type already exists."

So how do I get the User records to recognize their profiles?

I am developing a Drupal site where I have a custom content type called "station" and a custom content type called "photo". The "station" content type has one field called description and another field called "photos". Each "station" can have zero or more "photos" associated with it. The "photo" content type has a description field (TextField), a FileField of image type that holds a thumbnail view of the photo and a Link field that allows the user to download the full version of the photo.

My team has just been tasked with the the final go-live transition and data load from a previous NON-Drupal website to, obviously, our new Drupal built site. We are unfortunately coming in at the end of the build and getting the site "cold" from a previous external developer that will be moving on as we take over admin of the site internally and in perpetuity.

Old site has common functions like:

Consumer - Dealer / Distributor lookup.
&
Authorized Dealer / Distributor sign-on for wholesale pricing.

The site will and does support retail purchasing visitors (AD-HOC) and our Dealer Network folks (ACCOUNTS), segregating informational aspects, proprietary data and differing online sales paths for each. MySQL drives the old site and data is updated from our ERP system with nightly refreshes.

The new Drupal site is supposed to offer the same functions, and does so with minor issues unrelated to this post that are within the domain of our developer. However, due to some staffing deltas with the developer they have lost some "magic" in-so-far as the **refresh** and **reload** capacities that will be needed to sync the sites when we do our live turn-up.

I have a site that I would like to convert to Drupal. It is now a basic website with a separate Groupee/Eve forum. The forum is very active and has been so for many years so to lose it is unthinkable.

I want a pure Drupal site, using the Drupal forum but in order to do that I need to import all the threads and posts and members from Groupee to Drupal.

Is that at all possible?

My problem:

I ll give a simple example:

I have address data from company's and adres data of employees and costumers

i want to make contenttype address data with cck witch sucsided .

now i want a contenttype company withc contains adresdata and other info.
i want to just add the contenttype of address data to contenttype company instead of the regular use existing fields and same field.
