I'm a longtime Wordpress guy, and know absolutely nothing about Drupal, so pls forgive me. Here's what I want to do:
I have a standard Wordpress blog. I want to enable my readers to submit and vote on content a la Digg/Reddit. Unfortunately the options for wordpress are limited at best.
I came across Drigg, and it seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.
I'm preparing to use Feeds to import some content from a csv exported from an old ASP driven CMS. We have a couple of columns for the main body content and some sidebars, which contain links to old pages.
Hi guys, I'm in a bit lost here and I hope someone could help me. This is the situation, we were asked to maintain a drupal 7 site and the problem with this one is most of its nodes and stuff are hard coded. We have this photo and video gallery that we want to convert to views. I've managed to recreate the galleries using the views but I can't seem to recreate one of the filters that the previous web master had created. It was a select list exposed filter that contains the names of the member that has uploaded the image or the video.
I have a question that I hope you can answer for me. A family member that runs a charity contacted me this week and asked me if I could update her current site. She wanted to know whether I could create a function on the charity website that would allow her to login and update certain sections of the web pages body herself.
