I'm interested in finding solutions to host a website. The main traffic is expected from Europe and Russia.
So far I've seen only company names with servers based in USA and I'm affraid it may affect loading speed of the website.
I'll appreciate any advices and suggestions. Thanks. (Just please don't offer any russian companies. It's a nightmare there.)
I just went to my bookmarks to access my admin page (as I usually do) and it logged into what appears to be the actual site page. Any idea why it went to the site page instead of the admin control panel (as it had every previous time)? I turn on my WAMP server and my bookmarked page is (http://127.0.0.1/) because I don't have my domain name linked to the Drupal site? Does that sound right?
I have big problem
my hosting company is JUSHOST.com. and it is typically Shared Web Hosting.
and several times a day i see the DRUPAL SITE OFFLINE page with error The mysqli error was: User DATABASE_USER already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections
i talk with hosting support, and they say me that max_user_connection is 15. its not enough for our website
what i can do to solve this BIG problem. can anyone suggest anything for me
I am currently working on a project that will use Amazon S3 for backend storage of images and PDFs. I'll need these files only accessible by the Drupal site (i.e. no hotlinking, direct downloads, etc). I've come up with two ways to configure Drupal/EC2/S3 and I was wondering what the community thought and/or who has done this already:
for uploading a website onto the hosting server using FileZilla do we also have to upload the whole of drupal ( i.e all files that are present inside "c:\wampserver\www\drupal-7.14" folder) also. Please Help ???
I used this as a tool myself and plan on helping out in the community from here on out, as far as cloud computing and Drupal is concerned. I have built hundreds of Drupal cloud servers in the past 4 months and have a pretty good understanding about how these are built to perform at high and efficient levels.
We have been working a while to put 70+ Open Source applications into Rackspace Cloud and OpenStack for the last 4 months and just completed all 70 "IPSaaS Applications". Developers can instantly launch Drupal and 69 other powerful open source scripts with a few clicks.
