I'm just about ready to go live with my first drupal site and am considering switching hosts from Jatol to AN Hosting before I do so. I manage maybe 10 sites and would like to plan to move a number of them to drupal, so I want to choose a host where multisite hosting is not a problem.
Has anyone done this with AN Hosting? I know you should be able to do that with most hosting companies, but I imagine some are easier than others based on how they work.
I have just finished developing a website based on Drupal. I want to know if www.1and1.com can host such a site. 1and1 offers linux hosting, with mysql databases and cron jobs, but coming strictly from a Windows background, i hope you will not laugh at me that i ask such a question. Please help me out. Thanks.
does anyone know of a good cheapish european (10€ month maximum, netherlands preferably) webhost, that can handle drupal with a dozen or so modules instaled being acessed by say 100 simultaneous users tops, without getting too sluggish, disc space and trafic wouldn't be much of an issue but good php-mysql speed would, i know eurovps offers shared hosting and if its anything like their vps service then it should be good quality but they offer only 3/4 subdomains and charge a whopping 1€ for every extra subdomain (I guess their only in the vps business)
I'm working on a Drupal site I hope to have released in a month or so. I know that it will eventually outgrow shared hosting but can't afford a dedicated server at this time. I've researched some inexpensive alternatives to dedicated hosting.
Does anybody have a heavily trafficked Drupal site currently up and running on the Media Temple Grid Server? If so, some numbers in terms of daily visitors, database queries on specific pages and some other details such as installed modules would be very helpful as a benchmark.
Hi, I want to move to another hosting company for a new Drupal project. After reading through some posts in the forum my final choices are Site5 or Siteground.
I have a drupal installation up on bluehost. There has been absolutely no code changes on for more than 3 weeks. This morning all of a sudden, out of the blue, it started showing up 500 internal server errors on most the the php pages. All static pages like .html and .txt show up fine, and so do some php pages like phpinfo.php
Errors Look like these:
Premature end of script headers: /home/asd/public_html/index.php
Too late to run INIT block at perl//CGI/Alert.pm line 108
etc..
