Recently, I switched from Hostica to MediaTemple because Hostica was too limiting for my needs with Drupal. Unfortunately, MediaTemple hasn't been the most reliable host. In the past few months, my site has gone down 3 times for hours at a time. They claim cloud hosting is better because nobody is effected by "bad neighbors". This hasn't been the case in my experience. Instead of bad neighbors, I feel like my website is in a bad neighborhood.
HI! I'm looking for threads related to this dilemma of mine but I can't just go deeper to find possible solutions so I decided to post a new thread. I'm just new in Drupal and I really want to learn it more. So please forgive me with my ignorance. Everybody is welcome to correct my terms and comprehension on some matters. =)
Anyways, I'm looking at performance optimization in Drupal. I ran a client site in Y!Slow and it reported some (I think 13) images that need to be in CDN. The site is using the Boost module but still loading seems to be a problem. My questions are:
I don't really know what I'm looking for here. I think I'm after free web hosting at a place that also offers domain name registration for $10.00 a year or less. Don't need e-mail or anything like that, but hosting should have a high bandwidth allowance. I don't need a lot of space or anything. Any suggestions?

I'm stuck with maintaining a small Drupal site hosted (for the time being at least) at One.com for a local Karate club. To simplify image galleries and suchlike, I've used ImageCache and Views to make a userfriendly gallery function. The problem is that ImageCache doesn't seem to be able to generate images.
