Translations

Hi All,
I would like to know how to start a translation that does not exist?
There is "Iran Persian" fa_ir. And I want to start the "Afghanistan Persian" translation fa_af.

I'm building a multilingual site (with i18n module). I've added a custom text field on user profile (for Bio information).

How can I translate the content of the field?

PS: With 'Translate interface' I can't find the strings content in the bio field.

I have problem. I use Internationalization module but I can't translate main field "Basic page" into polish in "node/add".

When I try to do it in translate it in admin/config/regional/translate/translate I have "Tekst w oryginale" (orginal text in English) Basic page. I can't edit this field :( Can I do it in drupal php file? Where can I find it. I have installed a new polish translation but any success? Do you have any idea how I can solve my problem? Almost all fields are translated in polish but "Basic Page" or "Title *" not. I have default language polish

1.I created a view with path /news_eventi/achivio_news
this will display the a page with news . translated url is /news_events/news_archive .This works really perfect.

I just created two site in different language

www.example.in
http://tamil.example.in

sign out and sign in menu work in english site correctly. when i try to translate menu to other language it got reflected in english site also. Please give any solution. Thanks in advance.

Hi to everyone,

i am trying to import display suite module translation into spanish and i get the following:

Se han descartado 7 textos de traducción porque contienen HTML no permitido.
There are 7 texts that were not translated because they contain no allowed HTML.

I really need because display suite module has
t(some html such us "li" and "ul") and i can't modify it(in that case i wouldnt get updates in the future).

Is there a solution??
