I want to be able to enforce users to post in both official languages. My idea is to post if language neutral is selected. But if English is selected, override the publish setting i.e set to unpublished until the user has created an equivalent French and/or visa-versa. I have thought of using rules, but not sure if you can set content to unpublished, any suggestions? I am sure this is a general requirement on many sites and perhaps this would be a nice feature to include in the language module.
I've installed entity translation and everything is translated correctly, the only problem is that when I change the site language, translated nodes are not listed anymore in the main page content block. Nodes are only displayed when the chosen site language is the one in which the node was created.
Is there anyway to list original nodes and their fields translations?
I'm setting up a multilingual website using i18n module and Display Suite to manage the fields display.
When in Manage Display (admin/structure/types/manage/immobile/display/full) for a Field I choose Expert as Field Template and I insert a custom Label, this is not translatable. In Translate interface (admin/config/regional/translate/translate) I can't to find it.
Hi All and thanks for any help...
My site is in English, but I have some French users who struggle with the language.
I have Drupal 7.26 and just enabled ContentTranslation and Locale Modules.
I reset all my ContentTypes to "Enabled, with translation" .
I created a TestUser with "French" as the Language.
I log in as TestUser, go to some content and "Translate" to French.
This creates new content, but it is still in "English"!
What am I missing here? I've read, read and reread but can not figure this one out...HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!
I use two languages on my website: german (standard) and english.
If a visitor chooses english and clicks on /user/register all is good;
one sees the english registration form and all hints and messages
shown in english - means: after indicating username and email,
I got the status message:
"Further instructions have been sent to your e-mail address."
that's good.
But when I look in my e-mail account, the welcome e-mail is in german:
but not english.
