Changing language code

The Welsh language code is incorrectly set as cv not cy (see issue at http://drupal.org/node/66361).

I need to get it set as cy as soon as possible, as I'm using the i18n module, which uses the language code in urls. I don't want to end up with dead bookmarks in the future when it changes!

So is there any way I can change it myself? I know I can add a custom language, but I'd rather edit the 'propper' Welsh language, to make sure I don't end up with any upgrade problems in the future.

Thanks,
Steve

Import of French Translation has locked me out...

Hello out there!

I just got locked out of the website I was building after importing the French Translation file. I have the site set to be French by default with English as an option. I changed the default language to "English" from French as the Master Administrator and now the site isn't recognizing my Administrator login name or email to get back in?

If anyone has run into this, your solution for getting back in would be hugely appreciated! :)

Vietnamese for Drupal

Hi, everybody!

Who can show me a way to translate Drupal into Vietnamese?

I need this indeed!

Thanks advance!

Translations and OG?

I've installed the OG module and I tried to translate my website in to Chinese.
What I did was I translated Create %type, into 加%type, however when it came to display. It shows 加event, 加image, however, I have already translated event and image into chinese. All the other "event" on the website are in Chinese except for those.
What do I do?

Thanks,

Michael

Export translation per module

Hello Drupalisers,

If I have a module installed and imported its translation, and see a language error, I make changes using the localisation module. From there, I only can export a whole language, or a POT file for all Drupal.

Is there a way to export a .po file per module? This would increase improvement posibilities, and to share this improvements or post them back to the author.

Content L10n: PO files and revision control

A couple of questions:

How far is Drupal from using/importing/exporting PO files for publishing content in several languages?

How far is Drupal from having a revision control system showing to translators what changed in the original English pages and what needs updating in the translations?

Note that we are talking about translating content, not the Drupal interface strings.

We are looking for the right CMS for www.gnome.org, a subsite explaining all the basics about the GNOME project. We have a list of CMS requirements and a critical point is i18n. We are evaluating several possibilities and we have Drupal as a candidate (feel free to add your comments).

We want this subsite translated into the languages supported by GNOME. We have now 42 locales supported, plus 17 partially supported. The GNOME Translation Project involves dozens of teams sharing coordination, methodologies and translation tools. Our system works, and we want the CMS to adapt to it. PO files and revision control are a must.

Since PO files and revision control are standard elements of i18n in most major free software projects, we believe that a CMS providing these features would make a difference.
