Translations

Hi,

I have installed the i18n module an activated all the options the language i have selected is Spaniol.
After selecting the spaniol option all the contents are not transmitted in spanish and also not all the menu names are converted only few of them is conerted. I also want convert the Posted content if it is posted in English then after selecting spanish the content is not converted in spanish please help in this.
The default language selected is English.I am working on Windows XP local machine with XAMPP installation.

I just enabled translation for a "News" content type I created that already has some content in English. After enabling translations, I went to one of the existing content items to translate, but there's no Translation tab showing. I tried creating a new News node...and there is a Translation tab.

How can I enable translations for existing content types?

I am building a website which is having a multi language option. I have installed the Multi language module(i18n). I can add the languages from the settings. And the changes is reflected like Menu name s are converted and the modules description is converted i want to also convert the Content posted by any user like any forum/comments posted in other languages. Like if content is posted in ENglish and when I slecet the other language that content must be changed accordingly.
How this can be accomplished please let me know the steps

hi i have a problem in multi language website meun
suppose we have drupal website with 2 language first EN and second FA so when i define a menu with menu1 name and add for example http://mydrupal/node/1 with english content to the menu
but when i switch to FA language the menu1 appear on fa language also and when i click on it , the english content of http://mydrupal/node/1 view on fa language

I created a pot file with the potx module and translated the strings into German. When I import this file into my site I get the message that 5 translation strings were skipped because they contain disallowed HTML.

How can I find out which html is allowed and which not?
