I have found out that it is not possible to translate messages when there are "\n" in the text.
The "\n" will be removed from the msgid string when the po-file is imported.
In the translation interface (in site-building) you can see after using the string that the string with "\n" is untranslated.
I first thought that this was not important,
only changing drupal/misc/drupal.js replacing all the "\n" by "<br />"
and doing the same in the systems/translations/misc.po
I did everything on Building a multilanguage site and everything went good but I want to know how to set my home page (/) in french and a sub directory (/en) in english not vice versa?
I am newbie to Drupal. I am developing an Arabic site. I read so many posts in this forum which helped me a lot and I am reading so many documents regarding "Translations" now. I have a doubt at this point of time, please help.
I integrated "pathauto" module for automatic SEO friendly URLs. Its working fine for English pages. But when I create a non-English page (Arabic), the Arabic URL is fully broken in Internet Explorer. It shows some encoded form like ........%B4%D8%B1%D9%83%D8%A7%D8%A4%D9%86%D8%A7...... But in Mozilla, its working fine.
