I have installed drupal 6.9 and using a customize theme, i just want to know why i can not write any GREEK letters into an article however, i use the Greek translator file which is available in drupal website and that appears without problem and just fine but when I write an article, the Greek letter appears Like following:
???? ?? ???? ???? ??
I think it is the encoding problem! and i have to set it to UTF-8 in the database, but i dont know how to do it
hi i wanna translate my drupal site English to French on one click so visitor can choose language
i install French language in drupal also post pages in French and already installed language slection module but when i try to that that
change language of current node only please help me guide how i can change whole site language at one click.

the siute has 2 languages enabled: Hebrew and English.
i have multilanguages modules with i18n.
now i created an articles views with a menu item title in Hebrew but when i switch to English the menu title is still in hebrew even though the content does switch to the English versions of the articles.

Can anybody tell me how to translate taxonomy terms on a multilingual site. I've enabled i18n, translation management, translation table modules, but all I can do is to translate vocabularies' titles. And what about the terms?
Any ideas?
01. Install drupal in English
02. Go to [Administer] > [Site building] > [Modules]
03. Activate [Locale] module
04. Go to [Administer] > [Site building] > [Translate interface] > [Search]
05. Search for [All languages] > [Only untranslated strings] > [All text groups]
06. There are 4 untranslated strings !!!

07. Click on [Edit] link for [Unspecified error] translation
08. You cannot input a translation !!!
09. Click on [Save translations]
10. You get the following error messages !!!

11. Go to [Administer] > [Site building] > [Translate interface] > [Import]
12. Select for example [French] translation file at [http://ftp.drupal.org/files/translations/6.x/drupal/drupal-6.19.fr.po]
13. Select [French (français)] in [Import into] field
14. Select [Existing strings are kept, only new strings are added] in [Mode] field
15. Click on [Import] button
