Translations

Hello,
I am using Advanced forum in a website that offers a platform for people with different cultures to communicate, thus, translation for topics is crucial, so i am also using Translation Management to translate the topics in two languages.

I'm working on a website to make it user-friendly with drupal: www.tolvsbo.se (this is the non drupal version). As you can see, the menu exists of parent and child items (horizontal). In the new website I would like the child items appear in a similar row as the parent items (by hovering the parents).

HELLO WE HAD OUR SITE REBUILT IN DRUPAL LAST YEAR. I REALLY ENJOY IT. I AM CURRENTLY TRYING TO EDUCATE MYSELF ON THE BACK END STUFF AND EVEN SOME OF THE BASIC STUFF. SO PLEASE EXCUSE MY IGNORANCE. LAST WEEK WE RECEIVED ERROR MESSAGES IN THE BODY OF ALL OUR PAGES. SEE BELOW The company that installed Drupal was able to fix it. It is the second time it has happened. I have asked for them to send me the cause but I have not received an answer yet. So I thought I would try the forum. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time. Wally

Settings:
I've got two languages enabled (Dutch and english). Language negotiation is set to "path prefix only", I configured the prefixes 'nl' and 'en'. I've enabled the language switcher block.

pretty straightforward issue... started a multi-language site and create a few content types and only selected "enabled" for a multi-lingual support but now , a few months and many posts later i want to enable with translation but I do not see that it allows for translations of older posts after this function is changed...only new posts have the Translate tab in the edit form.

Do I have to recreate each former post in order to translate them?

Hi, i have idea for social translation service, where everybody can translate drupal or other software. You can translate not full document but a part without drupal/software installing. It will be like 2 column table with left - original text and right - edit for translation on some language. If there are posible few variant of string translation, so will be win the variant with max rating by peple voting. I shortly describe the idea, do you think this is necessary?
