I'm soon launcing a new Drupal-based community site for recipes. The goal of the site is to create a community where members can share recipes, techniques and videos for free.
The site is a standard Drupal install, but with a couple of extra modules such as flexinodes, taxonomy browser, taxonomy theme, userpoints and more. I have created a special flexinode document type for Quicktime (MP4/iPod Video/H.264) files, which I will release when the site has been officially launched.
Well a little over a week ago I decided to convert our NPO website to a Drupal-powered dynamic site instead of one with just static pages. After a bit of stumbling around while trying to figure out where things sit in Drupal, and only working on it in the evenings, I've managed to get it up and running: http://www.biketreasurevalley.org
If you have ever thought of putting your hard earned money into something that has true value please take a few moment to check out my site. At http://discerntruth.com/ we discuss all things related to precious metals and the economy. If you haven't ever seen a gold or silver coin make sure to do it because you will be changed and now that the world has gone to fiat money inflation is a given. If you are a U.S.
It's not a finished site, but I figured I'd mention that Linux for the Nintendo Wii is running drupal. There's not much going on now since the Wii hasn't been released yet, but the site should get pretty active in the months to come. There's also a MediaWiki running on there too.
