Site Launch - The Cedar Cultural Center

Whew - it's been a long time coming. Last night we launched the revamped web site for The Cedar Cultural Center. Quite a lot of audio, and a little video, and - well, let's just say there's a lot more going on in the new site http://www.thecedar.org than the old site http://old.thecedar.org

Come on over and take a look. The Cedar would love your feedback on the site.

Wordpress Migration - mutube.com

Successfully managed to migrate a Wordpress hosted site (more content than blog) over to Drupal fairly painlessly using the wp2drupal module. It's been quite a headache to get used to the differences in how everything works at first, but now (only 2-3days later) it's starting to feel more productive that it was before the switch. The forum capability is a big bonus - no more digging through comments/etc.

Bitchapalooza! Got a problem? So do we.

I'd like to announce my first Drupal site, Bitchapalooza.com. I've been through the ringer with various CMSs (PostNuke, Nucleus, WordPress, Mambo/Joomla, and the list goes on) and I just want to say that Drupal is absolutely amazing. Everything I wanted to do, and anything I can think of is possible in Drupal. I'm stunned, and I will be using Drupal for all my new client sites.

Thanks to the Drupal team, community, and module developers (especially the invaluable Views module).

From the site intro:

PunkPlanet.com -- live and redesigned entirely in Drupal

It's been six months in the making, three of which were spent barking up the wrong tree in Joomla, two of which were spent customizing the wrong theme, and one of which has been spent polishing, customizing, and making everything work right. And finally, PunkPlanet.com is live.

PunkPlanet.com is the website of Punk Planet magazine, BTW.
