Looks simple but the template.php file would say otherwise

Here is my portfolio site I am putting out there in the public: www.GlennYonemitsu.com

The main problems was the markup, a lot of nodes, blocks, boxes, etc. could have been lists or something else to make things much easier on the CSS. Yeah I would change the template files, but then some modules did not have the themeable functions to add the right markup such as ul.

SJBHS95.ORG

I've created an alumni site for those who passed out of St. Joseph's Boys High School, Museum Road, bangalore in 1995 and also those who were their classmates for only short periods of time during the year 1988-1995. Its located at http://www.sjbhs95.org

SpokenQuotes.com

http://spokenquotes.com

My site is the hub for a widget I created that speaks stock quotes and news. This is my first experience with Drupal and I must say I like it so far. I'm making use of a modified project and issues module to work with the disknode module. Also using a modified stockapi and stock module to display stock quotes for users. I have plans to modify the stock and stockapi modules some more to make them synchronize with the widget portfolio.

Katrina and Common Grounds

Since the anniversary of Katrina is tomorrow, I thought I would point out that one of the first responders to this natural disaster was a grassroots organization called Common Ground And they use Drupal!

FileSoul.org

I just put this site online yesterday. It enables you to extract the souls of your files. What does a filesoul look like? A really cool 256x256px colour image.

It gets really interesting when you start extracting the souls of fractals.

The site maintains a gallery of all extracted souls and allows users to vote for souls they like.

Just to thank you :)

Hi you all -

First of all - big thanks to everyone working on Drupal - it has been pleasure finally find one CMS which is quite easy to understand and develop as one wants.

Mine is http://www.pulmad.ee - Estonian wedding website. We used to have CMS programmed just for us, but it was to unsecure and it was also to costly to change - every time you had to reprogamm it :( We are also planning to convert all our websites to Drupal - and we have some 4 of them :)

Now I can handle everything myself - I know little about PHP and MySQL, but enough to handle everything in Drupal.

There are lots of good sides in drupal, but also some small negative sides - mainly in MySQL buildup (I think). Drupal is not that good, when you are using somebodys elses server (virtual server) because of its queries, it just slows down everything - we have decided to get our own server and 100mb line to solve it. Hope it will, cause I really like to stay with drupal.

Positive: you can do almost everything with drupal - modules are easy to understand and quite easy to "hack" too (in some case you have to too that).

I have used a lot of modules in order to make the site in a way I like, here is the list
