For a while I've been wanting to learn Web design. I decided to build a site on the upcoming game Borderlands. I chose the topic because I'm looking forward to the game but there is very little info out on it right now.
Additional modules I am using are image, lightbox2 and FCK editor.
I realize this pales in comparison to what many are doing with drupal but I am eager to improve. Any feedback on the site's design, offerings, or aesthetics would be appreciated.
www.rompantodo.com is an online radio broadcasting from Barcelona Spain. Their old site was a static design and simple tasks like updating schedule information were daunting.
We offered them to redevelop the radio site using Drupal and some contributed modules.
The core is based on the fantastic "Station" module. We had to use Drupal 5 because the Station module is not yet available for Drupal 6 branch.
The theme used is based on litejazz from roopletheme.
Inner Health Plus has released a new version based on Drupal technology.
Background
Inner Health Plus is one of the strongest medical strength probiotics available in Australia. The site: innerhealth.com.au and it's New Zealand counterpart: innerhealthplus.co.nz have been through two different versions since it's launch over half a decade ago. One of the major points that came up on the subject of the latest redesign and redevelopment was that the site needed to be a lot more flexable, and scalable as well as incorporating new technologies and design standards. We came across drupal as the solution for an (at this point) unnammed project to do with online education and after the development on this project, and the education project have since decided to roll all our new sites out using it.
Features
The Inner Health project is very simple, mainly it is there to give information on what the product does and how consumers can benefit from using it. It also has features such as contests, downloads, and quizes.
First I used Joomla and played a lot with it to start shaping it as I wanted.
I had to review a lot of 3rd party modules to create a custom content type for a "Downloadable software" item. Something like a product list.
Also I had considerable difficulties to select a joomla SEO component to allow for metadata and URL rewrites.
I started YeaWo.com about 3 months back. It is an Indian social bookmarking website where Indians from aorund the world can discover and share content that is relevant to India.
Its not like there is dearth of social bookmarking websites that are focused only on India. But, I found that almost all of then are built on pligg. So, this is more of an attempt to try something.
