Drupal North Carolina - Local Drupal Community

We built a lean Drupal website for the growing Drupal Community in North Carolina, USA. We have users from all over the state. It is nothing fancy yet but we are also going to use to as a training platform for noobs so they can get hands on experience.

Check it out. Has some good blogs and articles and you can post Drupal jobs on the forum.

Our Community-Site: cookelani

Here is our first project which we developt with drupal: www.cookelani.de

It's a lifestyle and cooking community with a littel shop. We putt a lot of work into the Design, but still work on the details :)

New Site Launched!! World Class Dealer Services

We've just launched another great site -- WorldClassDealerServices.com

95% of the site, unfortunately, is restricted to certain users.. So you won't be able to see ALL the amazing stuff... But for kicks go ahead and check it out!

We're running into one problem though and maybe someone could help -- It seems that the javascript "hangs" on the first pageload and sometimes randomly. Any tips would be appreciated!!

Announcing new Drupal sites with thanks to the code and module developers

Hi Drupal News forum,

Just announcing the launch of 2 new Drupal sites:

http://www.webel.com.au

http://rattanawan.webel.com.au (multi-site off same code-base)

May I extend my thanks to the Drupal core team and to all module developers, and thank all issue, forum, and book contributors who have so kindly helped me develop these sites over the last couple of months (I officially started my migration to Drupal around mid Nov last year). This is clearly one of the best, most active, and helpful development communities I have ever experienced.

May I also remark that - if done properly - developing a decent Drupal site with proper module assessment, styling, and content, clearly takes time (not days or even hours as some people seem to have claimed online elsewhere and in certain outsourcing job markets, which does no justice to the more sincere efforts of other IT professionals offering Drupal services).

Thanks however to Drupal's multi-site facility it is however certainly true that one can leverage the initial time investment nicely, although that too takes some time of done properly. Of course Webel now offers Drupal services after this fashion:
