I did 2 Drupal 5's now I did the six. There are still a lot of modules that are not ready for Drupal 6. I will do a few more 6's because I like the new capabilities. Hopefully the modules catch up. I really like Drupal...most of the time.
This online furniture magazine was built with Drupal 6 and is still a work in progress. The end user will vary from home owners and apartment dwellers looking for new ideas and ways to interact with others who share similar decorating interests to industry professionals seeking advertising or networking possibilities.
Hello everybody, I've just upgraded my site to Drupal 6.9 and released a new custom theme for it. Ventanazul is a webzine with articles and news for web developers that's been online since 2001. I've called my theme Woodpig.
I've been coding for Drupal since version 4.6 and even if I've worked in many Drupal projects for clients all over the world most of the time my own site was just a slight modification of the basic Bluemarine or Garland; I felt pretty bad about that. Well, it seems many of us, Drupal developers who keep ourselves busy, are on that same situation.
I had decided long time ago that I needed a custom theme to show what I could do with Drupal on my own site but finding the time was real hard.
It took me almost two years to design my own Drupal theme in the little time I could find between client's projects but I finally did it.
Everything I've used for this job has been open source:
Inkscape for wireframes
Gimp for mockups
Vim for coding everything, from XHTML and CSS to PHP and writing the articles' content
Bazaar for version control
And of course Drupal for putting everything together
