I have a multisite setup that was working fine in 6.16. All of the sites (about 8 small sites) were loaded and formatted to work on the server the exact same way.
Is it necessary to update from 6.17 to 6.18 then to 6.19 or can you update from 6.17 directly to 6.19 since both 6.18 and 6.19 were released on the same day?
In other words, does the 6.19 update contain all updates of 6.18 such that one can bypass the 6.18 update and upgrade from 6.17 directly to 6.19?
I upgraded from 5.x to 6.x. In the node overview (/admin/content/node), I can see all the sites, but the Links for editing them return a 404 Page.
It seems, that something significant has changed. Is there any way, to get the content back/reorganzied?
I have a site with lots of contributed and custom modules. My site has ecommerce, music manager, social networking, lots of stuff. In speaking to developers they tell me I should start a new site, but with all that stuff I think and upgrade is better. We have some bugs but most of theme is theming limitations I think from drupal 5x. I have been reading and even things of going to Ruby. I want a usable site and I feel that drupal 6x may be way better for more than drupal 5x. Is upgrading worst that actually than starting a new one.
I was wondering, will there be a way to upgrade a Drupal 6.x installation to Drupal 7 without breaking the install, and all its' modules? Also, is there a way to test the newest Alpha out on my server without affecting the Drupal 6.x files? TIA! :)
