Upgrading Drupal

Serious issues after upgrading to D7 then I came back to D6.19 but update.php is not responding and I am having blank page.

Five of my six Drupal sites upgraded from 6.17->6.19 smoothly without problems. The only one I hosted on HostGator that threw me the error messages below:

Fatal error: fatal flex scanner internal error--end of buffer missed in /includes/common.inc on line 2316
Warning: Unterminated comment starting line 2316 in /includes/common.inc on line 2316

So I just simply downgrade to Drupal 6.17 by copying every files overwrote them.

Hope someone can spot what it is I need to do to fix this because I am now hopelessly lost. I have upgraded my core files several times before without a problem.

• I have done the upgrade by the book, ie took site offline, switched to core theme, disabled all non core modules etc and unpacked the upgrade into the directory.

• I ran update.php which reported no errors.

This is where my trouble started.

• I then re-enabled all modules and when I clicked save I got a warning that some modules (I think panels and Ctools) needed something to happen. Because I had received this message before without a problem and everything was working previously, and I had everything checked, I clicked proceed. (sorry thats a bit vague but I wasn't thinking it would become an issue)

• My entire site is now gone.

If I go to the home page www.davislangdon.net.au i get;

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare panels_stylizer_lipsum() (previously declared in /clientdata/n5200-2-dynamic/d/a/davislangdon.net.au/www/sites/all/modules/panels/panels.module:410) in /clientdata/n5200-2-dynamic/d/a/davislangdon.net.au/www/sites/all/modules/panels/panels_stylizer/panels_stylizer.module on line 247

If I run /update.php I get;

The WSOD and the url says http://www.davislangdon.net.au/update.php?op=info

Hello,
I just tried to update from 6.17 to 6.19. I was taking an online course and followed the directions there. I know that this should work:
http://www.example.com/drupalInstall/?q=admin
However, I'm just seeing the offline message.

After upgrading from 5 to 6 i get this anyone know what to do?

After updating to the latest version (and updating modules that needed updating), I'm getting a persistent "Inactive integer field" message with some of my custom content types.

I believe I followed the recommended update directions and everything seemed to go smoothly.

I had a couple fields (text fields) for which I was getting this error but fixed it by simply disabling the appropriate module then re-enabled it and everything is copasetic, but this isn't working for the integer field.
