My status report says I'm using Drupal core 7.43. When doing a drush up it says nothing to update.
But at available updates it says I should update to 7.43 because I'm using Drupal core 7.43+0-dev.
I am experiencing problems updating from 8.05 to 8.06. The 8.06 core/upgrade.txt says:
3. Remove the 'core' and 'vendor' directories. Also remove all of the files in the top-level directory, except any that you added manually.
4. Download the latest Drupal 8.x.x ... and copy the files into your Drupal directory.
Presumably (4) actually means:
4. Download the latest Drupal 8.x.x ... and copy the 'core' and 'vendor' directories and all of the files in the top-level directory into your Drupal directory.
I recently updated drupal and my site crashed after that. I cannot get into the site because of a parse error due to outdated PHP and I cannot login to the website to update it because of the parse error. How can I update the PHP if I cannot even login to edit and update the website.
I have updated a Drupal 6 site to Drupal 7 and the Site name| Site slogan and Page title |site name are not displaying any longer in the browser tab. Instead the placeholders [site name] | [site slogan] and [page title] | [site name] are displaying.
If anyone can lend some insight into what may be the issue here and how to fix this I would appreciate it.
