I upgraded my Drupal 7 site to Drupal 8. I figured out how to promote my recent content to the front page, but now all my Article pages are appearing out of order because I made the mistake of using SAVE CONTENT on these old Articles that I brought over from the Drupal 7 site. There is no option in the Content menu to list the articles by their original post date, not the new updated date, which is today.
Im at a loss as what to do now. I have updated from drupal 7.3 something to 7.43. I replaced everything apart from the sites folder. It all went fine and the install seemed good. Now none of the links on my site work and i get an error URL NOT FOUND! I have no admin bar and nice menus seems to have disappeared. I cant access anything!
We are facing an issue with one of our internal Drupal CMS. The CMS was running on an older Drupal 7.14 and we upgraded it to Drupal 7.41 (we do have plans to upgrade it to latest stable version i.e. 7.43 but wanted to monitor this upgrade for few days).
Post upgrade, everything worked fine and system was stable for the almost a week. We encountered an error after a week. Below are the details:
I am in process of migrating from a home-based FreeBSD server to Bluehost. One of my Drupal installations is version 5.23 (2010-08-11), which I understand is no longer maintained. It is the oldest core installation I have been running; the rest are 7.xx or 8.xx.
Can anyone point me to the simplest and, hopefully, least problematic upgrade procedure? What should be my target core version at this point in time? Should I go to 7.xx? If so, do I need to step through 6.xx first?
I've been looking for even the slightest solution for 3 days but nothing.
After creating a new content type with no issue, I then create a node from that type. This also has no issue.
But when I try to access that content path by clicking the link in the content admin list (or accessing url directlty), the page 302 redirects to the home page - ive tried as admin and anonymous using pathauto, clean urls, and default query string urls. I cant find a cause or solution. Searching online - i find nothing.
