HELP NEEDED

HI LIST I NEED Help

I had an old functional site 4.7.x started to upgrade to 5.7 and al seemd fine, but, now the user can´t edit their profile-fields. I as admin can´t change it my self neither. oops. I can change it in the database directly, no problem, but not from the drupal-site....

I need help

Upgrade errors 6.0-6.1 in user.module and database.inc

Here's what I got after upgrading from 6.0 to 6.1

Updating modules

I am a newbie when it comes to Drupal, and I have a pretty basic question - how do I update modules. For instance, I have 2.3 version of Avatar Selection module, and I want to update it to 2.4. So how do I do that? Do I first disable the module? Do I just overwrite the files? Do I use update.php?
I thought find an answer to this would be easy, but I googled and found no results.

Thanks in advance.

What version of Drupal does the site run?

Brand new to Drupal...

I would like to find out what version of Drupal a site is using.

I have search the site and forums and tried every suggestion I found but it seems to be instructions for other versions...

Found this file under database/updates.inc

Does this mean the site is running Drupal 4.5.0? And what is update 129?

I guess so, it might be a stupid question, but is there a second way I can check and know for sure...

After upgrade to 6.1 category selection missing.

After upgrading to 6.1 I went to edit on of my pages to add another category term to it and there are no taxonomy terms or categories appearing in the edit panel. All my categories are there from before but I can no longer select them for adding new documents or editing them.

thanks
Eric
