Watch dog is showing numerous errors preg_match error

"preg_match() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given in bootstrap.inc on line 670."

It seems there are many error reports on this issue. Is there a patch for 5.7 that addresses this issue?

I recently upgraded my test site from 4.7 to 5.7.

Some parts of the site upgraded correctly but others have not.

I am getting many page not found errors and my main navigation menu does not display. How do I go about determining what went wrong during installation to resolve these issues?

Hello everyone,

I'm upgrading a legacy site but it's more or less going to be a fresh build. It is going to be completely re themed. What I'm interested in is preserving the database. Can I simply run the update script in 5.7 on 4.6 database? I can't find any info about this before I start experimenting.

Hi,

I have upgraded recently from version 4 to 5 but cannot get the 'Group Notifications' block to appear, even though I have set it to appear. I have checked the obvious (gone into 'configuration' for the block, access controls, checked module settings).

Is there something I am missing here? Many thanks for any help you can give.

I have 5.3 site and want to update to 5.7. I installed 5.7 to another folder and pointed domain name to new folder. when I run http://domain.name/update.php I got:

Unsupported database type
The database type is unsupported. Please use either mysql for MySQL 3.x & 4.0.x databases, mysqli for MySQL 4.1.x+ databases, or pgsql for PostgreSQL databases. The database information is in your settings.php file.
