Upgrade from 6.0 to 6.1

Well my website has been having a couple little problems and I thought it might be due to the fact that I havn't updated to 6.1 yet. Plus the little warning signs all the time are annoying.

So my questions is, how do I upgrade from 6.0 to 6.1 I have ftp access. Now don't go pointing me to the little support section there unless you know something I don't. Those instructions on upgrading are severely simplified.
I would like to know WHICH files I need to re-install after a fresh 6.1 install to bring my site back to it's old state with the 6.1 upgrades in place.

Admin panel problem (Drupal svn head)

Hi, i've get the svn version about 2 weeks ago, i loved this cms :P , everything was great..

Now i can't enter the "admin" link.. i click.. no answer from server.. :\
Weird but, i can write to my blog. only the admin link has crashed..

Used poormanscron module but now deleted, this not solved the problem. i always ran cron manually..
How can i do, is there a way to backup contents of my website, and synchronize with (fresh installed) drupal stable? if yes, i'll do :)

Thanks..

Beginner - problem with drupal versions

I have a brand new 6.1 site but I realise that I can't actually do anything with it until the modules are available and that will take too long for this project, so I need to go back to 5.x.
I use a cpanel installer which now doesn't offer 5.x, only 6.1. How do I roll back to 5.x? It's a vanilla installation. I have a test installation still in 5.x elsewhere - is there a simple way to transfer this to replace the 6.1 installation?
(Can you guess I'm a beginner at this!)

Is anyone interested in helping a new person?

Hi! :)

Okay, I'm going to sound corny, but I am wondering if anyone is willing to help me out with learning some of the stuff going on here? Specifically - help in writing modules or creating patches to upgrade my existing modules?

how to update a modules to adapt to drupal 6

Hello,

I have just installed drupal 6, but there are few modules to use. I would like to install a module in my Drupal 6, but it do'es work. It shows a message:"This version is incompatible with the 6.1 version of Drupal core".

Is't possible tomodify the modules to adapt the 6.1 version of Drupal? If so, how to do it? Thank you very much in advance for your help.
