Configure Drupal Calendar event in Asp.Net

Hi Team,

haven't much experience with Drupal. We have an ASP.net application that we'd like to integrate with Drupal calendar event. Anyone have any experience with this?

Any and all information you could point me to would be very much appreciated.

Please provide any example.

Interesting discussion of Drupal's Social Network Scalability on Sitepoint

There is an interesting discussion of Drupal's social networking scalability capabilities going on over on sitepoint right now. I wonder if any of the people on here have checked it out, or have some input:

www.kluhster.com

I have started a new website called Kluhster. My developers used the Drupal software to create this site and I would like you to log on and tell me what you think!

We have been live for about 3 weeks and, obviously, our next goal is to get as many people as possible to the site! We are still working to improve the site, so don't give up if you find something not quite right!

The concept of Kluhster (the phonetic spelling of "cluster") is a social network that uses common interests to connect people together. For now, we currently have 3 "clusters" (kluhsters); Golf, Hunting and Movies.

Here's an example of how it works in just one of the Kluhsters...Movies.

Within the Movie Kluhster, we have the following areas:

-Forums
-Movie Search
-Movie Reviews
-Latest Releases
-Top Rated Movies
-My profile

Essentially, you can go into the movie search and find thousands of movies. You can select "I have seen this" or "I want to see this" and it logs that movie under "My Profile" in the "Movies I have seen" or "Movies I want to see" heading. You can also select whether you liked or disliked the movie.

Other users, of course, do the same.

Drupal or Custom CMS for Niche Social Network?

I am considering building a niche social network and I am concerned about Drupal's ability to scale when there are a lot of logged in users. I have read numerous posts on here saying that with caching, Drupal fairs pretty well for anonymous / non-logged in users, but that scalability is an issue with a lot of logged in users. The site I am developing would have to be able to handle between 200,000 and 1,000,000 logged in users a month. I could not find a lot of cases where Drupal is being used for a social network with a high amount of logged in users besides this site (drupal.org).

Installing drupal 7.12 from local to Production - Now Logo and Images arent displayed

HI,

I've been struggling with an major issue for a drupal site that I'm putting togheter for a small business. While developing on my localhost it all worked fine but when putting the site the production server. Thing's aren't working as they suppose to.

The problem are with Images. I can use Ckfinder to upload images to the site, but they aren't displayed on the page.

Same for the logo. When uploading the image, it's placed under sites/default/files/images and the whole Url is shown when checking the code with firebug.

can we run og (in the version of the d7) in the installtion profile drupal commons? is tis doable?

hello and good day,

well i am pretty new to drupal and well i am a bloddy newbie.

i run drupal commons version 6x24 -

what is my question today: The Drupal 7 version of Organic Groups is a total rewrite, taking advantage of many new Drupal 7 features, in particular the new APIs for entities and fields.
