Drupal 8.x

We are developing a custom portal application on Java to be deployed on JBOSS. We are thinking of using Drupal for Content Management. Is this feasible? If yes, how can this be done.

I have gone through old posts on this website but I was thinking if there any developments which makes this integration feasible and more easier. Please advise.

I came here through Google code in . but since im a mac user i Bad some problems installing Version 8 of drupal . Version 7 works great with XAMPP but for the
coding stuff i will probably need Version 8 . so please could someone help me ?

I'm new to Drupal, and somehow miss a feature. (or I guess just don't know how to activate it) Let's say I have a content type which is using the term reference (taxonomy field type)
Is it possible to have the possible values filled dynamically (e.g. with already existing content from my site?

I don't want to type in all possible Tag/Term options, but instead want some kind of dynamic category choice for an author, feeded by existing content (articles/pages) from the drupal site itself.

Just seeking the general consensus... would Drupal be suitable as a platform for a social web place like Facebook? What scalability, security, user access permission issues, etc. would I run into, if any?

I need to create a site in which the Admin can post private files that only a specific user or group of users can view and download.
What is the best and future-proof (D8) combination of modules and configurations that can handle this?
