Drupal 8.x

The website that we are having is a huge site ( > 10 million page views per month) with integration with a few internal systems. We are looking out to get a experienced Drupal developer (at least 3 years of experience) OR outsource the maintenance to a drupal professional company.

The developer needs to reside in SG. If it's a vendor/company, it needs to have a SG office/contact person as we require 24/7 support.

Pls pm if keen. Need to start work within short notice.

I would appreciate suggestion for this common scenario in Drupal 8, which may be different to how I do it in Drupal 6. I don't want to do any programming.

I have two content types: (1) Articles (title, author, body) (2) Authors (First name, Surname, Biography).
Authors are not users.

When adding a new article, I want the option to select either (a) An existing author from a list, or (b) Add a new author to the list, and select it.

Hi All

i'm implementing a theme based on Bootstrap for Drupal 8 (beta 3) and Twig.

All works fine, except i can't hide the link related to the current language into the language selector. In other words, i just want to show the possible options (the other languages), not the selected one.

I am new using Drupal. I am in D8 beta 3, windows 8.1, Xampp.
I am unable to reorder fields in any content type, whenever I select the cross and drag it, a "no park traffic signal" appears, I the content type cannot be dropped in a new position.

I wonder if I am doing something wrong, or have forgot to tune a parameter.

I am going to use Drupal 8.
I already did some html5, Css, Javascript. Jquery,Bootstrap and Symfony learning.

Now I am looking for Drupal 8 beginners tutorial / online training.

I see a lot on Drupal 7, but since I am e newbie, it seems to me that
I best start with Drupal 8.

Even books or not yet available, they are released in the next months.

Any idea where to find drupal 8 tutorial/Online training which is not
setup as a upgrade from Drupal 7 ??
