I hope people can help with this and point me in the right direction.
I have a site that wants to support IP based authentication for clients. An external IP db will contain IP ranges connected to corporate user accounts.
I want to be able to auto login a user if the visitor comes from an approved IP Address. The issue I am experiencing is that the cache makes this tricky.
So I am wondering if it is possible to run this auth, if a match is found log the user in all before the bootstrap has decided to show a cached page...?
On several posts, we can see that the behavior of 'unpublish' a content if this content isn't in the source datas (csv, xml...) is a actual question.
With the same princip, if a content is not present in the source, can we modify a field value on this content?
Example: I'm importing products with a xml file on my site, if a product don't exists in the source file, can I modifiy the status of the product with "sold" ? How can i proceed?
