I am about to embark on redoing my site and almost started with Joomla, but now I am reconsidering Drupal. I would love to talk to a real expert on Drupal - for an hour or two, to discuss my requirements, and see A) how much can be done with already built modules, and B) how much will need to be custom designed. I know I can search through documentation, but unfortunately, time is off the essence, and I'd rather talk to someone who's an expert, then waste 3-4 days on searching and still have an incomplete picture.
Could it be possible to send news letters( emails ) to all members, may be over 2000, containing top image(logo), bottom image & text content, with the help of Drupal?
I'm reviewing various CMSs for both a specific project and future projects. I'll focus on the specific project in this post.
I want to build a simple website with very limited functionality. The result will be a small company website presenting the company, its services and its products. The only dynamic functionality (apart from content publishing!) will be a small contact form. So nothing fancy, no user sign-up, no e-commerce, etc.
BUT I want to be able to present the content to visitors in a nice and efficient way, and to be able to manipulate some metadata in order to give multiple access points to content.
I have a personal craftbeer Wordpress site at the moment in which friends can leave feedback about my beers.
A typical example of a page can be found here: http://aristocraft.chad.id.au/b07017/
Having played around a little with Drupal I have somewhat of an idea of the basics of what can be done, but I am curious as to whether a "Review Form" as on my website, can be done? If so, which modules should I be looking towards implementing?
