Hey everyone! My name is Craig and I'm a new drupal developer that is trying to get used to everything. I'm trying to develop a website to satisfy the needs of airline pilots. Here is a brief description below.

1. Each member can create and manage their own blog.
2. A very powerful forum for members to chat in (SMF or phpbb)
3. Commerce/auction system
4. Layout that can host ads
5. Image gallery/video gallery that can be posted into by all members
6. Membership system.

This is a simple question and I appreciate the answer may not be simple...

Could a Drupal website handle ...

1 million page views per month?
10 million page views per month?
100 million page views per month?
500 million page views per month?

Im trying to setup a Knowledge based site and does look like Drupal can do it.. just can i check on the following pls.

1. still bit confused by creating the menus and sub menus. eg

from what i can see, i have to create a page for PRODUCTS and manual fill this page with some introductor text,
but what would be nice instead is if it just lists the sub menus and there discription.

Is there a module that I can use that will allow me to add ads either using links or images that individuals would like to place on my site. I would also like to be able to place the ads on all sides of the pages and on to be able to control in which pages they will appear.

I've been reading a lot about Drupal lately, and I've been getting going, and learning how to install modules. It's going good, but I want to make sure I've been installing the correct modules to get the job done.
