I want to build one site with a wiki part and a forum part.
The forum part would have nothing to do with the wiki part except the user accounts.

1. Should I separate the modules for the forum and for the wiki in a multisite plateform like :
wiki.example.com and forum.example.com? I mean that my goal would be that it is faster: not loading every wiki module when in the forum and vice-versa? is that right?

I’m planning to do multiple Drupal 6 installs on separate dirs (not sharing code) as follows:

http://www.foo.com/site2/

http://www.foo.com/site3/

Does anybody see any potential issues/problems?

All the multiple site configuration info refers to sharing the same codebase, which is not what I want to do.

Could you recommend let me know which platform - PC, Linux, Unix, that drupal works best in terms of module, themes and easiness?
And, which by the way do you think is the most used in terms of popularity? thanks. H

I have to build a new website. What I wonder is if I'll use the 6.x or the 7.x version. I know the 7th one is only in development, but my website will not be in production before several months.

So your guess? Better use 6.x and upgrade to 7th later? Or start with the 7th one now?
