I haven’t played with Drupal in a long time so I’m hoping I don’t ask too many stupid question.
I’ve been asked to create a new web site for a local sports organization and I thought drupal would be perfect for this. We have discussed what kind of content it should contain and it’s now time to create a first prototype to show people and see what people say. Before I start creating a protype I would like to check with those of you who have more experience if my ideas looks sensible or if I should do something different.
I'm looking for the Drupal documentation. When I follow the link to Documentation on the Drupal site, I only see one-sentence short descriptions of what the page is supposed to have. There is a message at the top of the page, which appears to be about 4 months old, about some sort of migration. Although maybe the migration is just now happening.
I downloaded the distribution and unpacked, I do not see documentation.
I manage my company's website domain through Google Domains. It is currently a static site hosted via GitHub Pages, but we are wanting to develop a dynamic web platform so I've been shopping for a good CMS. Drupal seems like a good match as someone who is more of a developer than a designer. However, I was concerned that I might not be able to efficiently and securely link my Google Domain managed sites to Drupal.
Drupal 7 is encrypt submissions, or encrypt password module using salt hashing. This will display the encrypted password via tamper data in browser not display the plain text. Now i am also searching about this type of modules are available there in drupal 8 using salted hashing in drupal.

Is it possible to create a social network on this engine?
Is it possible in any way with time to solve the problem of high load? including toll ways? It can withstand huge Drupal load if you use paid methods involving programmers developers?
or Drupal to create a huge social network it is impossible?
