I'm thinking about using Drupal 8 for a news-portal and so I have specific needs:

I am searching for a collaborative tool to create and manage documents on my own servers (so no GoogleDocs :D )

Hello, I have done a couple sites now with Drupal and a project I am interested has someone hard coding a website from scratch. I told them I thought that I thought Drupal should be able to handle this pretty easy. Otherwise will take months to code.

I am Familar with Drupal 7 but not real sure if I should stick with D7 or move to D8 and what modules I need to use to make this work. (Other than the normal modules and Entity with Fields as needed.)

I came across "ELMSLN" and just have some basic questions:

1. Do I need Drupal to install ELMSLN, and if so, can I use Druple plug-ins for ELMSLN?
2. Can I use Drupal by itself to create an online school? What are the list of modules would be recommended that I install?

Hi, for some years i've been considering of doing a webpage about old videogames. My idea es to show a mysql database that was filled previously with different information (from game genre to technical data) with a CMS, but not sure wich to use as i'm not a programer nor a web designer. I've a friend who is used to Wordpress and says that perhaps i could use it to do what i have in mind, but i'm not sure though.

I am using Laravel 5 for it but I can't manage on my way and I need to pay my webmaster every times I want an update..

Does Drupal are stable for script development ?
