Is Drupal a viable solution for my website? Please review What is Drupal before posting.

Does drupal meets my requirement

I want to create a site in which a page posted should go through a workflow i.e from author -> reviewer -> tester -> publisher. This workflow is created and works fine but what we want is roles ( author, reviewer, tester and publisher) for every perticular group of pages should be different and they should not have cross access to other group of pages. i.e technology related pages should have diifferent roles assigned and process related pages should have diffrent roles. How can we achieve it.

How to merge a working menu system with Drupal?

I have a perfectly working web site with a menu system on the left side and a banner on the top.

My goal is to use Drupal to add a "Knowledge Base" section to my web site, to take advantage of the CMS and search capabilities of Drupal.

Where to place Drupal on an existing host's site?

I will be installing Drupal on a host that already has my currently active web site. The active web site has a lot of content in the way of photos and .htm pages that are subdirectories of the public_html directory. I will be importing all of these photos and most likely some of the .htm's into the new drupal produced website.

Game project hosting/viewing/playing

Hello, thank you in advance for your time and input.

First, let me start off by saying that for nearly two weeks I have been trying many CMSes, including Joomla, Xoops, Worpress etc. I must say that using Drupal gives me the feeling of empowerment rather than confusion (unlike the others!).

In short, what I hope to create is a site that allows users to do four things:
- download and play game that are hosted on the site, leave comments and ask for help
- upload completed projects/games for users to download and play, answer questions / offer support
- create project teams for game development
- join a specific forum community based on their platform, genre etc.
(of course i would also like to keep options open for expanding the possibilities but this is a place to start)

A fine example of what I would like to create can be found here:

http://gamejolt.com/

From what I have read, seen and experimented with I can't help but get excited. I have limited scripting experience and I am new to the CMS scene (other than the hours spent trying CMSes). However, most of what I need seems to be available for free (unlike those "free" joomla mods!)

Drupal seems like the perfect choice for me. Is it in your opinion?

The modules I believe that I need/want to do this are as follows:
- CCK for submitting games/projects for download
