I am busy building/organize a website like this (dutch site). This site offers a combined search result of multiple car occasion sites. It recognizes doubles and show the results. The search query is based on information filled in like car brand/model/price etc.)
Now i did build a couple of Drupal sites before but nothing like this... so, this is really good to expand my knowledge :-)
My mind cannot handle this all together and need to know if i am on the right track.
Here is a list i made of what i thought what's needed:
Selections, input form
Brand --> Model: taxanomies in hierarchywith hierarchical select to get the car brand and corresponding models to choose from
Price/KM/Year etc. just standard selection boxes
Now the core of the site. This is the part i need some advice, if possible :-)
Getting search results and show them
Depending on the site, most offers xml. The Feeds and QueryPath/Xpath module can read rss/xml results but how can i combine all results/manipulate and show them to the user?
My job is going to re-advertised and the new requirement is drupal. Even I worked for the company for a while, but I am a beginner of drupal. I can re-apply the job, but I am in disadvantage comparing some drupal guru applicants. I have a few months to learn as much as possible.
Hi guys, I'm new to drupal, but i've been doing php development for a while. A few friends and I are looking at a side project for an entertainment news site and after some research I decided to go with drupal.
I've got everything installed and started in the earliest stages, but I wanted to touch base.
Having said i'm an experienced developer, just not with drupal, is there a nice how to site for drupal that anyone wants to recommend? I know there are a lot out there, but having stated my background, i wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations?
We are building a premium website that will sell exclusive urban activities, starting in Singapore. We are currently researching Drupal's modules to deliver the features. This is our first Drupal ecommerce site and we could use Drupal advise to get us going!
Hello all. I'm sort of a drupal newbie but I have posted a couple of drupal sites in the past. My programming chops are non existent thus this challenge. Anywho, I'm working on an openchurch site and trying to implement a children's church checkin system using webform. Seems like it would be really simple where members populate their profile with their family info. The webform calls their information into textboxes and uses checkboxes to denote the service the parent/child is attending.
