como puedo hacer relaciones muchos a muchos en drupal 7

usé el modulo node reference para hacerlo, pero solo lo crea en uno de los tipos de contenido, necesito que 2 (en realidad 3) tipos de contenido se relacionen de muchos a muchos, por ejemplo, alumno y asignatura

un alumno tiene muchas asignaturas, y una asignatura muchos alumnos, el problema surge cuando se debe actualizar solo, o sea, al crear un alumno y ponerle sus asignaturas, este debe agregarse solo a la lista de alumnos de la asignatura correspondiente y viceversa.

Hello, I dont know where I should ask this, whether in the chat, group or forum, i will try the forum first. I am building a web site where the primary feature will be making users making collections of things. okay like video or audio playlist, but the items in each collection can be anything, or link to those items..one collection might have a speech mp3, or a picture, a recipe, a video, etc
