Before you start

I have a VIEW page with items (grid). I want to have the possibility to give those nodes a label 'SOLD' or something and move them to a sold-page

I have some requirements on hand for what I need done. I am a bit familiar with drupal, so I am pretty sure it can do this, but I wanted to run it by the community to see if anyone has a better solution or maybe some specific modules that I should look into.

I need a website where I can do the following:
- Have different membership levels
- Be able to change people's credit card for services
- Capture form input and insert data into a database
- Provide some kind of logging

I have to take the images and resize them and then incorporate them into the site. In addition, I have to integrate Paypal into the website. I want to develop an editorial system in Drupal. Can anybody please help me if there is any distribution to use or how hard is it to develop such a system in Drupal. Is it easier to install such a thing in wordpress? And is there anyway to use visual interface development ratehr than HTML coding in Drupal?
