Before you start

Hi guys, Ive got a problem. This website: "contrastes.ucr.ac.cr" is in Joomla, but I was asked to start a new website in drupal. Im new in creating websites, I know nothing about it. My question here is:
That page is allocated in a virtual server, should I ask for another ip to start the website from zero there? Or how can I do it? I think I don't have to use the same ip as the site because is currently being used!!! So should I asked another DNS? Or can I work my site in a free web hosting , and then copy and paste the carpet to the virtual server?

I'm looking for a module (or a workaround) to get the functionality of MS Access / OpenOffice Base into drupal. I would like to enable the user to fill in certain pre-defined forms, show reports, etc.

Is there any possibility to do that without starting to code and write SQL? (I'm well aware that the knowledge of both is also required for using MS Access / OpenOffice Base in an efficient way)

I am not a web designer. I can generally work around problems given the proper tools, do tweaking, etc, but I am not a web designer or programmer. I have very little experience with this sort of thing. That said...

I have been asked to put together a site for a small community, though we expect it to grow. I have two primary requirements for this site.

1. Will be explained below
2. Forums with usergroups and the ability to restrict access to particular forums/posts based on those groups

When I set the site offline (maintenance mode), the website frontpage (//localhost) cannot open! Fortunately, I still can login via the page //localhost/user. After turn back to online, //localhost can open normally. Anyone can help?

I've been laying low for a while with building my website since I have read blogs that say that theming in Drupal 8 will be much easier. I've looked at theming videos for Drupal 7 and it made me not want to get in to that, or maybe the videos where not for Drupal newbies.
Having built sites with static pages and pure HTML + CSS and later on Wordpress, how much will I understand the Theming process in Drupal 8?
