Before you start

I'm planning to create blog that can be fully view in tablet and smartphone. Can drupal do that?

I am building a holiday destination site. I would like to add holiday destinations as one page, with all the info. I think I can use content-types and add fields.

I would like to create different pages that resprent aholiday type, for example honeymoon, surfing, family etcetra and I want to be able to add the page of a destination to different categories.

What would be the most effective way to do this?

Generally speaking, is it better to have more content types or less content types? Considerations of using views and taxonomy. Excited to hear anybodsy thoughts on this as I'm planning out my content. Thanks in advance.

I apologize in advance for one of those "can Drupal do this…" questions but I figured this would be the forum to ask.

Looking to choose Drupal 7 for an upcoming project that requires users be able to bookmark a page (flags) and to be able to be able keep a running tally for that specific page (custom module?).
