I would like to create a webpage and I need some guidance or any helpful advice.

I would like my users to input a statement(ex: "The sky is blue") and once this statement is input I would like for other users to see it and vote for it. ex: Yes, No, Maybe, and other options.

I want to create "Introduce" Page only use "HMTL" code, not relationship with my template. It's mean when user access my website, "Introduce" Page will be show first then click "Home Page" link to return website's main content. Anyone suggest me to do it?. Thanks so much!!!

Before we start - sorry for my English, this is first time in ~10 years when I must write something.

So... I have about 8 years of experiance as C# / PHP / JAVA / SQL programmer. My contact with web development is rather small - I was writing server side code like search engines, data analytics algorithms and so on rather than whole web pages.

Now I have problem. My current project is about writing "wireframe" for portal for our clients (something about ~40.000 companies).

I am getting ready to convert an existing basic website to drupal. This site has some impressive SEO keyword rankings that the owner is nervous about losing.

How do I upgrade the website to drupal without losing those ranks? Is that even a concern? I will likely keep most if not all of the content, and I can manually copy the header meta tags into the drupal home page. Is that necessary? What precautions do I need to take?
