I want to make a website for my personal projects. It will have a "front site" with brief introduction on every project, and a "site" for each project. I want to have different layouts for the different projects, and another for the "front site", but i want only one managment interface, one users database, ...
It would be a plus if it has multi language support, but that's not the most important thing
Drupal seems to allow that, but i'm confused on how to do that.
I see there are modules that allow different themes for each section of a site, such as Taxonomy Theme or Sections.
But in their description it's not clear if the same primary links will be shared among all phptemplate themes, as it is the default behavior.
I also know that xtemplate themes may be configured to show different primary links.
But is there a way to have different primary links for different phptemplate themes?
I have hosting on 1and1.com and My hosting package only comes with 1 MySQL Database.
I'm already assigned the database name, password, etc.
I can't figure out where in Drupal I can tweak the code so that it works with my 1 Database. From what I understand it's set up to be in it's very own unique database. I need it to be in my database and then create it's own tables (sharing the database space with a bunch of other tables mind you).
I've Used Xoops and Mambo and a number of other programs and I rarely run into this problem.
I'm looking for a suitable solution for a project.
I want to make a mixture of a cms for a "normal" Homepage, a crm for customer's support, and a kind of cms/groupware for our internal business communication and organization.
So there'll be 3 different types of Users on this page:
1. A normal, anonymous user. He can only access page content considered viewable for all. There are no restricted topics and categories on his menu. It looks like a normal Homepage to him, without possibilities to edit or post something.
