Before you start

Hello,

We are developing a site which has advertising module which can display:
- admin defined ads,
- ads from 3rd from sites like doubleclick etc.

Please can anyone guide me, if I can implement the following using existing modules of Drupal 5.1:

1) Various Ad Pricing like Charge per click (CPC), charge by day, charge per 1000 impressions etc.
2) These ads can be bidded or can be even fixed price
3) Ads should be configurable on time and zone based.

(something similar to Google Adwords module)

I am looking at developing a parent website with a bunch of subwebs (or could do folders if necessary). Most of the content would be duplicated on each subweb, with the exception of a few things like name, phone number, and about me page. I would like someone else to be able to enter their contact info, but want the rest of the site to replicate the content etc. Is this something that could be done fairly easy in Drupal? And if so can you explain in a briefly a rough outline of the steps, or guide me to a location where I can find the answer.

Hello Friends,

This is my first post and I am looking to do the following which I need your help with:

1. I am not a programmer and don't know much about web design. I have lot of domains. I want to develop one site and then use it with different content for other domains over and over.

2. I have compared and read reviews about many CMS systems in last few months (Drupal, Mambo, WordPres, Joomla, etc) and decided to go with Drupal on my first website project.

3. I have read the Drupal Cook Book which is a great document, and kind of still lost mainly due to my poor background in web design.

4. I decided that using a Drupal theme will be best for me as I understood that all I have to do is down load the theme, add my content, and then host the site somewhere, right?

5. I am looking to achieve these goals with my site:

a. Simple site design (mainly plain pages as graphics/pictures are not important for my sites)
b. Easy to add more pages if needed
c. Ability to write custom sub-domains and custom URLs for different pages. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT for me. I want to write SEARCH ENGINE FRIENDLY URLs.
d. Automatic Site-Map generation
e. Ability to add additional links at the bottom of the pages
f. Basically simple clean (mostly while interface which is very easy to edit/customize) which is very search engine friendly.

Does anyone have any information on integrating Drupal with Knowledge Tree Document Management System? What are the benefits of integrating the two? We are in the process of implementing knowledgetree for our organization and we are trying to come up with the best tool for our remote team members.

Can I develop a website entirely in Chinese using Drupal or the main language has to be English? Thanks,

I have a kids site in classic asp that I wish to put in drupal. I'd like to have all the urls (.asp) stay the same. Is this possible? I can host on either IIS or LAMP. Anyone have any thoughts? The site is at Percy Engine.com if that helps.
