I've been using Drupal for about a year now, but:
In the Drupal folder, there is a folder called sites, in there, you have the default folder, with the settings file. Is there any way I can use 1 drupal installation for multiple websites. I also want to use different themes on each page. How could I?
i have noticed that alot of the sites i have seen on here are using a style that only takes up a centered section of the screen. I would like my site to fill a whole page is this possible?
I am trying to build a art web community where users can submit there works and have others comment on them as well as have there own galleries e.t.c a good example of a similar site is deviantart.com but mine would be much more scaled down. Is drupal the right software for me and if so can someone suggest what addons i might need. I am sorry for sounding dumb this project was goint to originally be done by 4 people but they all bailed on me and i refuse to give up.
Earlier this year I set up an 20-page extranet for a small manufacturing firm, who wanted to provide a secure order form (no cc processing) for their outside sales reps. I installed ZenCart with some light security and interface customizations. OK so far. Then the project’s emphasis switched away from ordering products, to sharing product information and news. Using a cart as a CMS for that now seems kind of clunky.
So I’m considering a Drupal install to replace the cart.
Currently running sites in PHP Nuke. Playing around with Drupal 6 beta and am impressed. Looks like a great option moving forward. However, after being hacked in Nuke awhile back, I've become very dependent on Nuke Sentinel for security. Being able to easily monitor access, block harvesters, and block entire country ranges has been invaluable to me. I've gone from a plethora of nonsense hits from other countries to practically none. Is there any equivalent functionality or module to Sentinel for Drupal?
