I'm a new user of drupal, I would like to design a community website that I can customize and manage it using drupal. Any one who can guide me where to start with.

Ok, so here's the case.
I'm a pc fanatic (student from the Netherlands) that just dived into the drupal world and is asked by it's boss to set up an intranet.
At the moment all people within the company work on a local server with solely a folder structure that needs rework since often people can't find what they are looking for. (This is just a matter of restructuring the server's folders for easier navigation I guess ?)

The company (which makes and sells books and adverts) uses RFX to handle it's customers orders etc. There are excel files available (for example the top 5 best selling books and their numbers) which import the raw data from the RFX database and processes them into graph's the employees can understand.

Rockettheme has poor low quality drupal themes. I recently joined their club and I am highly disappointed. Their themes has missing code, one theme had the wrong read me text document, their set up tutorials aren't good along with other issues and their themes are just bad quality when it comes to drupal. It only cost $50 to join their club so maybe I should of thought about quality before joining as it is pretty cheap. So like they say, you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a good quality drupal theme I advise you not to invest your time or money into a drupal rockettheme.

I can't seem to find a basic paging module for D7. I'm just looking to manually break up articles into multiple pages with number and the bottom of the page.

Did anyone find one?

Hi drupal community !

I got project, and i think drupal is a good CMS to make it right.

I made a first version with wordpress, but im not statisfied with the template,and i cant find a good one.

I need a template with one big box on the middle where i put one thing, and some boxes on the bottom which generate random stuff from categories i define, and a bar on the top to navigate between categories.

I search drupal theme, but i didnt find, so im here to ask you to help me haha

Do a theme like this exist ?

I'm building a site for my hockey group, and one of the things we want it to do besides give information, is allow for users to register for our weekly recreational games:

Sign up per event
Post the list of people signed up with options such as "offering a ride"
Pay for the event (or at least so an administrator can mark someone as paid)
Administrators have the ability to modify the sign ups
