Clean URLs has rendered two of my sites unuseable. I can get 'half way' there like the above.

I am just wondering what people figure the impact is for SEO.

I am looking for some guidance as I build my new website.
I currently have a blog at blogger.

I'm building a new website using the theme BlueMasters. I would like to export my blogger blog while maintaining as much data as possible. With the blog on my new website, I would like to keep lots of the same functionality I would have on a blogger or wordpress type site (ease of importing pictures, attachments, links, etc.)

So my questions are:

As a website owner what are the things i can look out from a developers to have developed with Drupal Website Development??

1. How should I successful move on my patches on Drupal.org issue trackers?
2. What time is usual for approval a patch?
3. Who is responsible for approving and committing patches tested by the community?

Complete Drupal noob here. Please point me to the right place or persons. Sorry if this note is in the wrong place.

The project I'm working on is the creation of technical documentation. Specifically, the company I work for (which has given me no money for the job!) needs multiple manuals using different subsets of a large number of topics. For example, all manuals use the same copyright page; an Admin manual will have a unique cover page and include Topics A, B, D, and X; a User Manual will have a unique cover page and comprise Topics A, D, G, X, and Y.

Friends have told me about Drupal, and the meetups I've been to make me think Drupal is the right tool. However, I need help figuring out what modules I need (Paging versus Pagination versus Custom Page; Print versus Open views Export, and on and on!) and even how to begin.

Please review the list of requirements below; any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi guys,

One of my colleagues, Ian at Hydrant has starting writing about his experiences of working with Drupal 6 & looking at migrating over to Drupal 7 and I thought I would share his post here.
