What's the best way to deploy a brand new drupal website from the test server to the host server? What about once the drupal site is up on the host server, what's the best way to 'update' it with changes made to the test site? Is it best to deploy the website twice, one to whatevermydomainis.com and one to test.whatevermydomainis.com or is it better to keep them on different servers?
I'm using drupal 6.x, and am brand new to it. Thanks.
I want to create a web with multiple languages, and I want to find a tutorial, example or howto in drupal. Which is the best way? Subdomain like en.mysite.com es.mysite.com, somebody could give me a basic idea to develop, and how drupal manage it.
I like the concept and use Drupal 7 since the beginning of 2011. I couldn't imagine before that I will get in trouble with one of my most important needs... I wanted to finally use galleries and tried it - researched - and tried it again in many ways, again and again... But allways with many problems all around...
I'm trying to figure out a simple way to allow article writers to identify which categories each article matches by simply checking the boxes for the categories in which they should be included. It is a bit complex, as there are three broad category areas with multiple selections within. As an example:
Type of vegetation:
- Flowers
- Vegetables
- Fruit
- Grain
- Tree
I need some help in finding out how to get my profile removed from this website. I have sent numerous e-mails and heard nothing back. When I signed up it said I would be able to delete it in the appopriate section but that does not appear to be the case.
I am not sure if this site was set up via Drupal etc, but I understand Stephen Essex is a member and has referenced this site on his details. Please can someone advise how I can arrange for my profile to be deleted? I am hoping Stephen might see this himself and seek to action my simple request.
So, I've been learning drupal on my own from reading the help files and watching various videos. I'm fairly tech savy - but no experience with sql, or php. Been using drupal 7, so I thought I'd take the Odesk profeciency test for drupal (6.14) - anyway...here's my scores...
This was a 40 minute test that took me about 15 minutes - could have probably googled alot of the answers I missed...
