What's the longest a single issue has taken you in Drupal? Have you ever been forced to give up because you just don't think you'll ever get it?
As of today I'm on a month. The entire month of Oct spent on one issue and still no closer to getting the solution than when I started. Every single night, 11pm-7am straight. No weekends. No holidays. And still...nothing.
Drupal tables can usually be reordered using drag handles. This is a very convenient feature, until the size of the tables becomes large. Soon clicking and dragging to move a row from the bottom of the table to the top becomes cumbersome.
The large menu segmentation demo presented here solves the problem by breaking a table up into manageable units. A classified ads menu is used to demonstrate this feature. Such a menu may have something like ten headings, each of which may have twenty categories.
I have developed and published module on D.O. which is a payment gateway for Ubercart.
The payment company had a name change.
They took my module and did the name change in the code, and then publish the module on their own site without any credit to me.
The company did sponsor my initial D5 development. And I did offer to republish the module under new name on D.O.
Now, I'm really not overly concerned about this, but it does however leave a bad taste in my mouth.
How am I protected for this happening i.t.o. GPL in future?
Just wondering the proper venue for website feature requests.
I'd like to suggest a "subscribe" button on issues and forums so people don't have to post with "Subscribing" and it won't update everyone's tracker with useless posts. It's very helpful to be able to subscribe to issues and such so you can find them later etc but sometimes in long issues people subscribe a million times.
