Im creating a gaming website and I was wondering if there's something like Clantiger (http://www.cms-informer.com/clantiger) cms available for drupal 7, like being able to add ranks, creating rosters, upcoming matches, matchresults...
I have a specific requirement that is somewhat similar to Organic Groups. The details are as follows -
- Whenever a new user registers, he will be able to select a "Channel" in the registration form. The user wont be able to change the channel post registration
First I will introduce myself and present the reason why I have tried Drupal e why I am likely to quit Drupal.
I am a surgeon and systems analyst with formal education in Statistics too. Currently I am chief researcher on health risks at an organization devoted to health care quality accreditation of hospitals linked to the main health care quality accreditation organizations in the world. I also do some business in the Internet and have my own data center and hosting service that I manage personally and where I have used CMS systems for almost 10 years. So, I'd say I am a bit acquainted with CMS systems and with quality matters. And although a newcomer to Drupal, I am not unexperienced in the kind of situation I report below.
Recently I decided to offer (for free) Internet visibility to organizations and people that, in the most incredibly adverse environments, do great jobs delivering health care in poor countries and places and can afford neither the hosting service nor learning the CMS and yet would like both to stop being ignored and to exchange information. Lowest cost Drupal seemed the obvious choice at first. Made two test setups: one for a single domain and another for multiple domains.
I am looking for a module project to work on that many sites can use.
I have been working with Drupal since 2005 and know how to code modules, customize and design themes as well as many other tricks with Drupal. Most of my work with modules and themes have been for s pecific company and only work well for them. I have not released any modules that would be usable by the public.
I have been on several job over the last year and they pretty much all are looking for modules I have contributed [to] that are released publicly.
