In D7 can we create content types and then display them to the website users in a table form (columns and rows).
Making each row one record and displaying multiple records on the screen (eg 100 rows). Enabling the user to edit the cells on each row. Copy and paste cells between rows like a spreadsheet.
In this use case the users would need access to around 1200 records of data which are made up of 15 fields. These can be displayed in smaller sets of 100 per screen at a time.
How could this be done?
Can you point me to any examples of something like this?
I'm doing a master of Open Source, and I have to do a task about an Open Source project, and I'd selected Drupal.
I need to respond a questions that I don't know and provably your can help me.
There are any especific developing metodoly to develop Drupal project like Agile, XP, UML, etc.?
There are any place that tell the future work to do at next release?
How people can propose changes? I supose that with forum and mailing list, anyone?
Where I can found companies that collaborate with the project?
Currently using a mid-range WCMS on a site with 10,000 pages and even more documents.
Costs of maintenance/licenses are high, and we're now seriously pondering OS solutions - if viable.
However, though Drupal is undoubtedly a superb WCMS, I'm still debating the effective equivalents of many of our current plug-ins and page / document search options [asp].
Further - though I of course understand this is down to the CSS - I've been unimpressed by the expression of modern, minimalist but highly 'useful' design in even the best Drupal site examples.
I am a newbie to Drupal and am very excited to learn things here and I am really wandering if any one can tell me how can I setup a site with Drupal which looks like www.pals.in because this site is already using Drupal CMS as I can see but I am unable to find the way to setup a site exactly like this (in terms of desing and user interface).
Any help would be really appreciated and I will give a personal kiss of thanks to him! (lol, kidding!!)
